OCR creates a text layer that PDF readers can search and that SCANIFY uses to find saved scans.
Download the completed file or share it from the Android app with another app on your device.
Add one PDF, or up to 10 JPEG or PNG pages. SCANIFY keeps page order and produces a searchable PDF, which is useful for forms, notes, letters, receipts, and other everyday paperwork.
Clear, evenly lit, straight page images produce better results. Printed text is generally easier to recognize than handwriting, faint copies, decorative type, or blurred photos.
The recognized text helps with search, but SCANIFY does not reconstruct headings, tables, reading order, or other document structure. Generated files are not guaranteed to conform to PDF/UA. See the accessibility page for known limitations and help.
