SCANIFY Terms of Use

These terms form an agreement between you and Speechify, Inc. when you access or use SCANIFY. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Eligibility and accounts

You must be at least 18 or the age of legal majority where you live. You are responsible for your account, credentials, and activity and must promptly report suspected unauthorized use.

Your documents

You retain your rights in documents you submit. You grant us a limited license to host, copy, process, modify, and transmit them only as needed to operate, secure, support, and fulfill your SCANIFY requests. You represent that you have the rights and permissions needed to scan and store them.

Acceptable use

Do not use SCANIFY to break the law; violate privacy, intellectual-property, publicity, or other rights; distribute malware; evade safeguards; probe systems without permission; overload the service; or reverse engineer it except where law expressly permits.

OCR and important documents

PDF rendering, automatic cropping, and text recognition can be incomplete or inaccurate. Review every result, keep important originals, and do not rely on SCANIFY as the only copy of a legal, financial, medical, or other important document.

Service changes and termination

SCANIFY is offered as a generally available production service. We may update features, perform maintenance, or temporarily suspend access to protect the service, comply with law, prevent harm, or address a material breach. You may stop using SCANIFY and delete your account at any time.

Copyright reports

Send copyright concerns to support@vidifyads.com with your contact information, the work claimed, the material at issue, a good-faith and accuracy statement, and your signature.

Disclaimers and liability

To the extent permitted by law, SCANIFY is provided “as is” and “as available,” without implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or uninterrupted service. To the extent permitted by law, Speechify, Inc. and its suppliers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or lost-profit damages. These terms do not limit rights or liability that cannot legally be limited.

Changes and contact

Mandatory consumer protections and non-waivable local rights still apply. We may update these terms and will post material changes with a new effective date. Questions may be sent to support@vidifyads.com.
